Incidence matrix columns represents associations and rows topics. If matrix cell contains number 1 (one) then row topic plays a role in the column association. If matrix cell contains number 0 (zero) then topic plays no role in the column association. If column association is binary, the sum of row numbers is 2 (two). Matrix doesn't contain association type nor roles. Also, matrix contains no other information about topic except their appearance in associations.
