Wandora

Wandora is a general purpose knowledge extraction, management, and publishing environment based on Topic Maps. More precisely Wandora is a Java desktop application to build and manage topic maps. Wandora has graphical user interface, layered presentation of knowledge, several data storage options, rich data extraction, import and export capabilities, and open plug-in architecture. Wandora has also a server companion enabling dynamic publication of topic maps. Wandora suits well for rapid ontology prototyping and knowledge mashups. Wandora is owned and copyrighted by Grip Studios Interactive Oy. You are free to use Wandora in personal and non-commercial projects.

This site, WandoraWiki, is a home of Wandora software application and an ongoing project. Site provides you an access point to the Wandora application and it's documentation. Should you require personal Wandora support please use Wandora Forum or contact us directly at support wandora.org.

January 22, 2008: New version of Wandora is available now! New version contains many new features including OBO import and OBO export. See change log for a complete list of changes.

January 21, 2008: First results of Wandora's upcoming OBO flat file support are available! Download topic map conversion of Gene Ontology here.

December 19, 2007: Wandora Team wishes Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2008. Next Wandora update will be published by the end of January. Update contains OBO (Open Biological Ontology) import and several microformat extractors.
