Wandora

Wandora is a general purpose knowledge extraction, management, and publishing environment based on Topic Maps. More precisely Wandora is an open source Java application to build and manage topic maps. Wandora has graphical user interface, layered presentation of knowledge, several data storage options, rich data extraction, import and export capabilities, and open plug-in architecture. Wandora includes also embedded HTTP server enabling dynamic publication of topic maps. Wandora suits well for rapid ontology construction and knowledge mashups. Wandora's license is GNU GPL. This site, WandoraWiki, is a home of Wandora software application and provides you an access point to the Wandora application and it's documentation. New features are listed here. August 4, 2008: Wandora team is back in business. Expect next Wandora update to be released 31st August. Update contains at least OpenCyc Web API extractor, OpenCalais extractor, Firefox plugin to ease Web extractions, preview panel for videos, and last but not least GraphXML export. July 15, 2008: Summer surprise: Topic map conversion of OpenCyc! June 29, 2008: Have a Nice Summer! Wandora team is on summer vacation in July. We expect to get next Wandora update published late August and release update feature details in the beginning of August. May 30, 2008: New application version available. We are happy to announce new Wandora version has been published today. New features include embedded HTTP server, YouTube, Del.icio.us, and Digg extractors.
