How to add a name type to Wandora
By default Wandora supports two variant name types
- Scope Display with a subject identifier http://www.topicmaps.org/xtm/1.0/core.xtm#display
- Scope Sort with a subject identifier http://www.topicmaps.org/xtm/1.0/core.xtm#sort
Scope Display is topic's visual representation while Scope Sort describes topic's order of topic collections. Default name types are instances of a topic Wandora variant name version. Wandora variant name version is an instance of Schema type.
To add a name type to Wandora create a topic for the name type and add Wandora variant name version as a class to it. Wandora doesn't restrict the name type topics anyhow. Next image views a topic Wandora variant name version in Wandora's traditional topic panel.
To hide names of certain type remove the class Wandora variant name version from the language type topic.
To remove a specific name type, remove it's topic. To remove a specific name type permanently, edit Wandora's base topic map at build/resources/conf/wandora.xtm. Removing a name type removes all variant names that have the name type in their scope.
